Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
After the recent tornado on 6-5-10, only a mile from here, this cache in more appropriate. The area still has trees down from the last tornado in 2000.
NEW COORDINATES (11-04-12) The cache is now a large plastic thermous bottle.
(origional 2002 wording) This is part of the Good Dog Trail. This is one of 10 caches that form a loop. Start at any point and follow the numbers for an enjoyable drive.
This area is part of the Maumee State Forrest. This state forrest in multipal sections of Henry, Fulton, and I think Williams counties. The state maintains these square mile sections of woods. I don't know how many there altogether, but collectively they are called Maumee State Forrest. They are open to hikers, hunters in the late fall, and there is a section set aside for dirt bikes and all terrain vehicles.
This is a large plastic shoe box container, camo color, with a bungee cord on it. No need to bushwack, cache is not far off an established trail.
