Geocache Description:

This cache is dedicated to the memory of Alan Hull who was a founding member of the Tyneside folk rock band Lindisfarne.

I am very fortunate in that my eldest brother knew Alan from his early days as a nurse at St. Nicholas Hospital and as a result, I met him several times. My brother has always claims that he was drinking Guiness with Alan on the night he wrote "We Can Swing Together". Originally a Lindisfarne track, it was re-released in '05 on Alan's posthumous album "We Can Swing Together" - Track 8.

This cache is hidden in the strip of trees and bushes situated between Cherque Way and the the parallel footpath.
