Near to one of many milestones in the area marking a historic route between Gloucester and Cirencester, part of The Old London Road. A perfect cash'n'dash or can be equally enjoyed on a walk around the many local footpaths and lanes where many more caches can be found too.
Further Milestones exist either side of Bisley, marking this route. Almost all of this route can still be walked today with the exception of the part from Park Corner into Cirencester Park, where an airfield was created during the war. The route from Waterlane to the Tunley milestone was originally more direct too.
The cache contains just a log and pencil.
PLEASE NOTE: It is not necessary to move any stones to access this cache. Please do not disturb the dry stone wall. and replace as found, out of sight and under appropriate leaf/twig cover. Thankyou.
Congratulations to Bussage Bog Hoppers for the FTF in just 36 minutes!
