This one is just for the fun of pun.
My son just finished up his soccer season in this park. Watching his games gave me time to plan out a nice spot. The park is always crowded during games, but often they play on the higher up field. Watch for muggles. With these kinds of "private" parks, I find some people are awfully territorial about their public places. This park is a little difficult to get to. Best route is Valencia to Santa Fe and turn where the sign tells you to--Carbon Canyon backs up something terrible during rush hours, and I got stuck in it the first time I tried to get to my son's game. There is a nice parking lot and a playground nearby. I sometimes (don't tell) use this park as a staging area for runs or rides into Carbon Canyon Park, because I'm cheap and it's free. The container is log-only. Please take care with the carefully constructed cache. If anything starts to come loose, let me know, because if it falls, it's gone forever. Also, there is a electrical box close that has already sustained some damage. Please don't mess with it or step on it. Good luck. Thanks for playing.
