Geocache Description:

Do not, I repeat, do not go to the middle of Lake Monroe to retrieve this cache.  It's not out there.  And besides, this is a puzzle cache.  You're gonna have to sit down and do some serious ciphering before you even set your foot out the door.

This puzzle cache will require you to do some investigation and figure out the final coordinates.

You'll scratch your head.  Take some aspirin.  PAF. And all other forms of mind bending activities before you can attempt the search.

This is an urban search so no bushwhacking will be required.

You'll need to figure out the following digits in order to search for the final cache location:



Now for the task at hand. Sit down with all your investigative skills and devine the digits, solve the cipher, and complete the coordinates.

1. This solution is for the digit J. President Chester Arthur visited Henry Shelton Sanford at his home in Sanford during this year. Take the third digit of this 4 digit year and add one. Result is J.

2. This solution is for the digit I. Henry Shelton Sanford took charge of the Aves Island Case for his Uncle from Boston. How many letters are in his Uncles first name? Subtract 4 from that amount of letters. Result is I.

3. This solution is for the digit H. At the Sanford Orlando Airport, there is the NAS Sanford Memorial Park. At this park, an aircraft is displayed. There is one number in the type of that aircraft. Subtract 3 from that digit. Result is H.

4. This solution is for the digit G. Sanford became the county seat in this four digit year. Take the last two digits from this year and subtract 7. Result is G.

5. This solution is for the digit F. According to the 2010 Census, the population of Sanford was this amount. Add each digit of that population. Subtract 19 from that amount. Result is F.

6. This solution is for the digit E. When was celery first planted in Sanford, Florida? From that 4 digit date, take the 4th digit and add three to it. Result is E.

7. This solution is for the digit D. The Sanford Mayor who was elected in November 2010. His last name is indicative of a number. Add 5 to that number. Result is D.

8. This solution is for the digit C. The Central Florida Zoo is located in Sanford, Florida. Find the numerical address of the Central Florida Zoo and add the four digits together. Subtract 13 from that number. Result is C.

9. This solution is for the digit B. Go to the following waypoint in Sanford, FL in GoogleEarth. Waypoint is N 28° 48.693 W 081° 15.513. At that point, drag your person (Streetview) to that waypoint. (Be sure you are looking at the view on June 2013). Rotate the view south until you are looking at the building. There is an address clearly visible on the building. Add the three digits of that address. Subtract 4 from that number. Result is B.

10. This solution is for the digit A. Go to the following waypoint in Sanford, FL in GoogleEarth. Waypoint is: N 28° 48.078 W 081° 15.150. At that point, drag your person (Streetview) to that waypoint. Rotate the view south until you are looking at the building. There is an address clearly visible on the building. Add the four digits of that address. Subtract 5 from that number. Result is A.
