Geocache Description:

Follow this web link to the City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department for more information about the history of Comanche Lookout.

You can get to this cache if you climb straight up the hill, but don't do that or you will meet some of the nasiest, thorniest plants I have ever been acquainted with. Take the paved trail to the top of the hill till you get to the stone tower-then follow your GPS.

The cache is located off the trail. Yes, you have to pass thru a few of those nasty bushes, but there was a cache in this park before and it went to cache heaven. I wanted to make sure nobody found this one unless they were really looking for it. So I apologize in advance to all you nice geocachers out there who will probably get scratched up.

Why don't you take a pair of those plant snippers and de-fang some of those suckers that are in your way as you approach the cache?

The cache is now a plastic screw top container.
