NKLJ-church.
This is a simple three stage multi that will take you to Lower Ulleruds church.
The actual cache site is well away from the church and church grounds.
This church was built during the 1750:s and inaugurated 30 September 1759. The has been a church here since the thirteenth century. There is a separate clock tower behind the church. Before this church was built there were fears that the river could erode the riverbank and endanger the church. Deje’s inhabitants on the western side of the river also wanted the church to be moved there. The Vicarage was actually on the western side, so the vicar had to take a boat ride across to get to the church.
Please take a little time to have a walk around and admire the huge pine trees overlooking the Klarälven river.
