The cache is located on the Gardener Creek Trail at Calumet Waterworks Park. This is an area that I have spent many days walking and camping at the nearby Scout Park. Many locals and visitors enjoy walking the trails and bring their pets out for some exercise. If you do this in the evening the sunsets on Lake Superior are spectacular.
This is my grandsons cache. It is a rather large container with an assortment of Match Box Cars, from his very large collection, for the first few finders. It is back from the trail, there is mud in the spring and when it rains. At the begining or end of the trail there are steps that may be slippery. Enjoy the walk and if you have time there are 4 other catches in the park.
