Cemetery caches. Some love them for the historic value, some hate them because cemeteries can be creepy. But they are quite easy to place, and caching choices can be thin in this town, so I figured, "Why not one here?" Your adventure will take you into the Lind Memorial Cemetery. Unlike many other cemeteries in this town, this one also has military equipment on display. There is a rifled cannon (or field gun - not really sure), and the sled mount of an MG 08 (heavy World War I German machine gun - interesting mainly because of how it was mounted on these legs, a crew of two could fold the legs out horizontally, cover the gun with a blanket, and carry the gun around the battlefield in a way that their enemies were fooled into thinking they were lugging around a person on a stretcher). Many veterans are honored in ways not seen in regular cemeteries, either. Many Civil War vets are buried here, arranged in a circle around a monument honoring local Civil War veterans (a circle of more modern veterans is to the east of this one).
Once you get to the cemetery, your GPSr should point you to an obvious location - but that is where the fun begins. Some of you will probably find it pretty quickly, others may curse me under their breath because of the trouble they have to go through to find this. Either way, watch for muggles (close to Green Avenue, but curiosity in a cemetery is usually sufficient for stealth), and happy hunting!
Difficulty of cache is due to muggle potential. Terrain updated because, while flat, there really isn't any sidewalks, and it is probably only wheelchair friendly if the ground is dry. I've learned a bit more about caching in the last ten years. Congrats to Scoof for the FTF!
