This cache of one of two that are being placed just south of Nine Mile to replace an older cache that had been archive. This cache is named after the Terrot. Terrot started as a machinery factory in Germany in 1862 with a branch factory added in France in 1887. In 1890 the French factory began manufacturing bicycles. In 1902 they began making motorcycles. After the Great Depression they added motorized bicycles and in the 1950s they added motor scooters. Eventually they were taken over by Peugeot.
This is intended to be a Ride & Grab cache. The cache container is a small camo painted bison tube. You will need a log extractor. Please bring your own pencil or pen.
I have found that a quick and simple log extraction tool can be made from a small paperclip. Straighten one end out. Grab just a small portion (maybe 1/32 of an inch or 1 millimeter) with a long-nose or needle-nose pliers then bend it at a right angle. I have attached one to the cache you can use. Please leave it for the next person.
