This cache of one of two that are being placed just south of Nine Mile to replace an older cache that had been archive. This cache is named after the Fram. Fram was a Swedish bicycle manufacturer started in 1897 as B. Bernh. Oberg & Co. In 1905 they took over the production of the AB Josef Eriksson's Bicycle Factory. In 1932 it was aquired by the Industrial Company of Helsingborg, which manufactured King bicycles. The company name was change to Fram 1955. Two years later it began manufacturing a three-wheel micromobile. Eventually the company was taken over by Monark Crescent which no longer manufactures Fram bicycles.
This is intended to be a Ride & Grab cache. The cache container is a small camo painted bison tube. You will need a log extractor. Please bring your own pencil or pen.
I have found that a quick and simple log extraction tool can be made from a small paperclip. Straighten one end out. Grab just a small portion (maybe 1/32 of an inch or 1 millimeter) with a long-nose or needle-nose pliers then bend it at a right angle. I have attached one to the cache you can use. Please leave it for the next person.
