The Fourth in the Maladies Series
In scouting out this location, I found and discarded two other spots. But the bonus for you is that you get to walk past both of them anyway, so you can have a look. I added them as WayPoints, but here they are as well:
The Elephant's Graveyard - S 33 44.101 E 151 15.143
The Melted Faces - S 33 44.059 E 151 15.157. Interestingly, I found what looked like a GeoCache at this location - an unusual hand-made container connected to a tree at the bottom of the rocks, with a swivel topped lid. I've decided that is nothing more than either a drug drop, or spy drop location :)
As for the real location - most of the walk is along a nicely graded dirt road. Only the last 30m requires any agility. I started from my favourite spot - at the end of Brooker Avenue. You could also start at Lady Penrhyn Drive, or even Maybrook Ave (but this would be steeper).
Finally take a card!
