Geocache Description:

Old drygrange also known as fly boat referring to an earlier ferry at this point in the river. The bridge was built between 1776-1780 by Alexander Stevens, the bridge was closed to traffic in 1974 after the new drygrange bridge was built.

For when the tweed is running high from wintry moor and moss, old drygrange is standing here to carry you across.
