Geocache Description:

Located just off the Erewash Valley Trail and The Nottingham Canal near an area called Millenium Park.

Plenty of other caches locally with lovely walks around Awsworth and Cossall.

Welcome to my cache, placed near a location that is managed to encourage the Common Blue Butterfly, hence the name.

You could do this as a quick cache and dash, but there are plenty of other caches nearby that could be incorporated into a decent walk. PJ's Morning Walk Series by moan-a-lot and The ABC Series by Bigspen & Jac, The Nottingham Canal Series by ilsonannie plus others by O2J and myself, madforit.

Nearby parking is available in a small lay-by shown in the additional waypoints, it will only hold 2-3 cars so please park considerately if you park else where.

You are looking for a small, natural container.

The location is on the outside boundary of Millenium Park an area popular with Horse riders, walkers and cyclists using The Erewash Valley Trail. Please also be aware of passing motorists, stealth may be required.

Contains just a log, no pen or pencil.

Please replace the cache, well hidden and as found.

It will only fit together one way round, so please treat with care. Ta

Unfortunately this cache is unsuitable for pushchairs or wheelchair users at GZ but the paths near to it are suitable for them.

GOOD LUCK & HAPPY CACHING.
