Geocache Description:

Time to hide my 2nd cache.  This is so fun!

Sam Bass was a famous or infamous train robber in the late 1800's. He was killed here in Round Rock on July 21, 1878 and his grave is in the close by cemetery. (Visit the cool virtual cache at his marker)

Tradition holds that much of his share of the loot is buried in Denton, Texas but no one really knows for sure. You can get a lot more information about him and the missing treasure  here http://books.google.com/books?id=K8-MyTGInEgC&pg=PA92&lpg=PA92&dq=sam+bass+treasure&source=bl&ots=Ytw5mIoNK0&sig=CkL_OQJR-Nvw-or6rtf42Tpm93w&hl=en&sa=X&ei=4ayGUea3MYnq9ATAjYDIBg&ved=0CEwQ6AEwAw#v=onepage&q=sam%20bass%20treasure&f=false. and on the City of Round Rock web site

I just thought it would be fun to hide a cache with "treasure" in it.

None of the "treasure" is trackable but I hope it's fun to find.

The cache is a camo'd tin box lovingly painted by my spouse!

I hope the coords are OK - GPS was jumping around a bit.
