A beautiful location surrounded by salt water but easily accessible by road.
This virtual cache is surrounded by salt water but you can get to it by road. From the cache you can explore nine miles of undeveloped beach and dunes. During its 5,000 years of existence this area was visited by pre-Columbian peoples who left middens containing evidence of shellfish harvests, fishing, and pottery making. They made checked and incised ceramics and stone gaming pieces.
You can visit the cache between 8 AM and sunset. You'll need to pay a $6 fee to reach the area of the cache.
