This cache is within a 15 minute walk of convenient shopping center parking. Most of the walking will be along a sidewalk to an unpaved trail and the final cache location is off-trail with no bushwacking required. An alternative approach is to reach the cache along trails leading from other caches in the area. The final cache location is no longer on a fairly steep slope but the new location has a different, added challenge so appropriate caution should be used.
We placed this cache IHO the little RPanda's 9th birthday. She wanted to hide geocaches for her birthday ... how cool is that?!? This is our very first hide. The container's cammo was all her idea and it was a bit of a challenge to find an appropriate hiding spot to suit the cammo. We've enjoyed finding the other caches in this general area so that's how we ended up choosing this particular location. The cache is log-only so please BYOP.
