Some time ago, I posted a note to your cache page requesting a response from you to post what you were planning to do with the cache on the page and to send me a note. I have no record of a response, and no response tells me that you are not planning on replacing or repairing this cache. If I am wrong with that assumption, please let me know promptly. I can always unarchive the cache for you if needed.

Geocache Description:

Odo Proudfoot

 

Odo Proudfoot: (2904–3005) was a son of Bodo Proudfoot and Linda Baggins and cousin of Bilbo Baggins. 




 Odo had a son named Olo. Mr. Proudfoot was a grumpy old gaffer, who minded his own business and tending his garden. However, he enjoyed Gandalf's fireworks and only expressed his disapproval when his wife arrived. He was present at Bilbo's Farewell Party.[1] He later met the four hobbits as they returned home from their journey.[2] 



In The Fellowship of the Ring:
As Frodo and Gandalf make their way to Bag End, they pass Everard Proudfoot's Hobbit-hole. He glares at Gandalf suspiciously. After Gandalf sets off some fireworks for the children that are following, Everard is amused. However, his wife comes out and he quickly wipes the smile off of his face. At Bilbo's birthday party, he corrects Bilbo by saying "Proudfeet." 
In The Return of the King:
Everard Proudfoot is outside of his Hobbit-hole when he sees Frodo, Merry, Pippin and Samreturning home after their long adventure.
