Geocache Description:

I am so excited that I am the first to place a cache in this location. I have always loved the old church that sits here overlooking the Columbia River towards Astoria, but now they have also put a beautiful trail system in as well. Please take some time to explore this trail. You can learn about the history of the area and the Chinook Indians that lived here.

Although the official trail is an easy walk, it will be slightly more difficult to reach the cache. Be courteous of the natives and if you see trash, pack it out. Thank you!

I dedicate this Cache in memory of my Great-Grandma Kay. She was a member of the Driftwood club for years! She would have loved the adventure of Geocaching for sure!!!
