Geocache Description:

We have passed these retired hats many times on our way out to go quading and thought it would be a great place to set up a series of geocaches. If you have a hat that needs to be retired bring it along and find a nice resting post for it (you will need a couple screws and screwdriver or nails and a hammer).  Have fun with this series!! Please bring your own writing tool and tweezers. No room for trades.

May 31 2015 Update. Replaced all the containers with bison tubes - hopefully these will stand up better to the elements. They are now really easy to find as well. When you do these caches there are three places to park off the road. It is a 3 1/2 km walk one way. I DO NOT recommend just pulling to the side of the road as it does not have much room for that and it is a busy highway - Having someone pick you up at the other end might be a better option. Do not worry about the people that are honking at you - they are just others that have retired hats there and they are just saying hi. Long grass and thistles are to be expected and long pants might also be the better choice for this trail. Bring bug spray. After walking this trail to fix the series up a couple times I can tell you it will take you about an hour or more to walk it one way so make sure you are aware of your time limit when going out for all at the same time.
