Hidden along a Tennessee Valley Authority Power Line Cut on Green Mountain, where any weekend you will see families climbing to the top to see the Tennessee River and the City of Huntsville on one side, and Owens Cross Roads on the other. Recommended time of year for hiking this trail is November through March, otherwise it can become thick with overgrowth. The view from the top of the mountain is worth the hike. Take a 25-foot rope to get over the peak.
