A welcome rest for walkers coming home from a day at the beach in St.Margaret's Bay. There is plenty to see and do in charming St.Margaret's Bay ranging from the beach, walking on the white cliffs, the Pines gardens and museum and plenty of eating establishments.
This medium sized cache will give walkers a moment to catch their breath whilst tackling the long set of steps from the beach which avoid walking up the narrow, windy beach road. If you are coming by car, you will need to park either on the beach or on one of the roads at the top of Bay Hill. The steps can be busy on sunny days meaning you will need to use stealth and for night-time thrill seekers, they are unlit which makes the cache more of a challenge and will help to recreate for you the sensation of walking home on many Bonfire nights with torches forgotten when you couldn't see your own hand in front of your face!
