Mt. Shosha (Trailhead of Higashizaka)
Although the altitude at the top of Mt. Shosha is only 371m, many people visit here throughout the year because there is a famous temple Engyoji. There are 6 trails to the temple from the mountain foot. In addition, an aerial cableway (ropeway in Japanese) has been operated in the daytime.
There is a Hachiouji shrine near the trailhead of Higashizaka. Stone-carved guardian dogs in the shrine have been here since 1830. There is the way to Higashizaka trail from here. However, there are some nets and gates against deer. Please turn the nets to go Higashizaka or go back to the Waypoint if you wish to go to Higashizaka trail.
This cache is placed near the shrine. Because the accuracy of my GPSr was low when I took the coordinates, please refer to the spoiler photo.

書写山 (東坂参道口)
書写山は標高３７１mの山ですが、山上には圓教寺があり、四季を通して訪れる人が多い山です。山上へは六つの参拝道があります。さらにロープウェイもあるので、誰もが気軽に参拝できます。
東坂参道口には八王子神社があります。この神社の狛犬は文政十三年(1830年)に製作されたようです。ここから書写山の東坂参道に行くことができるのですが、途中に数ヶ所鹿対策の網が設置してあるので分かりにくいかもしれません。少しロープウェイの駅の方に戻りWaypointから行かれた方がいいかもしれません。
このキャッシュは神社の裏手に置きました。座標の精度がいまいちでしたのでスポイラ写真を参考にしてください。
