Geocache Description:

A much need cache at a very nice K-9 playground!

Italian sailor and explorer John Cabot was born Giovanni Caboto around 1450. In 1497, Cabot traveled by sea to Canada, where he made a claim to land for England, mistaking the North American land for Asia. (If you'd like to know more please follow the included hyperlink)

This cache is located by a nearby dog park. It is a very lovley park and I felt that it needed a some Geo-love! I have included a waypoint for parking if you would like to bring a four-legged companion for a "Journey to the Northwest Territory", although it is not required. You can access the cache from John Cabot Rd. but who knows, if you do take the "journey", you may just make a new friend or two!

Container is small and camo-ed and contains a custom made pen. Please re-hide container exactly as found or better. Terrain can be either a 1.5 or 2, depending which way you approch the GZ. Please be VERY stealthy, day AND night! This area can be very muggle heavy at times. Also, the park IS open at night and can provide provide some good night-time cover for muggles, so be aware!
