Most people probably don’t know this but all of the connecting linear parks in Willowgrove were designed for storm water storage in the event of a flood. If the main storm sewer trunk along Attridge Drive were to ever fail these parks would allow storm water to backup into them.
If you take a walk you’ll notice every so often circular grates. These grates lead to the storm water pipe network underground.
These parks are also great places to hide geocaches… so go find it!
