Geocache Description:

'White Christmas in May!!!' is a small traditional cache hidden above the Turnagain Arm Trail between the Potter's Marsh and McHugh Creek trailheads. The view from the cache and from the many other nearby rock outcroppings are spectacular. Fire Island, Sleeping Lady, the Alaska Range, Iliama Volcano, Burnt Island, most of the Turnagain Arm and Hope are visible from the cache. Come experience the view, enjoy the trail and see what wildlife you might encounter along the way!!!

The "ET's" were headed to one of the older caches in Alaska, GC594 McHugh View. Upon reaching the cache and while signing the log, they were taking in the views when they noticed a tree...a Christmas tree that needed some decoration. So having some in their packs they decided to ascend a bit further up the hill and do a bit of decorating! The result...a cache for you to find and another spot for you to take in the views!!!

Come enjoy a bit of Christmas along with the views of the Turnagain Arm and the surrounding area!!!!
