Geocache Description:

Mr Hemlock Trowelms was sitting in his study at 221c Baker Street when I arrived.

"Ah, Whyson, a timely arrival indeed!" he exclaimed, placing his pipe carefully in the ashtray by his chair.

"That was my fifth pipe on this latest conundrum, yet still I am at a loss." He rose with a cough and beckoned me to the table by the window.

"These are the objects that are causing me such consternation, Whyson." As he spoke he handed me two small figures from the table. One was a rendition of a griffin, the other of a set of five bells.

"What can they mean, Trowelms?" I asked eagerly.

"If you look on the underside of each of the figures," he said, "you will discover the letter G."

"G and G…I'm afraid I'm as much in the dark as you, Trowelms." I answered.

"I suspected that would be the case, Whyson. I believe they refer to a pair of suspicious characters I once had dealings with. Look once more at the figures, this time at the top. Here, take this," said Trowelms, handing me a magnifying glass.

"Why there appear to be coordinates engraved on the figures!" I exclaimed.

"And that is where we shall begin our investigation. Fetch the map and my compass, Whyson. There's no room for new-fangled technology here…the game is afoot!"
