“BOERETROOS” is an Afrikaans word that is used for “coffee”. If you would translate “BOERETROOS” literally, it would mean “Farmers’ Comfort”. Coffee for us South Africans means much more than a caffeine shot in the morning. It is about hospitality, getting to know others during the ritual of having coffee or finding comfort in a silent moment.
