Being an expatriate of Nebraska, and having attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I thought I would place this cache with my daughter in honor of our favorite football team and one of their best players of all time, Johnny Rodgers. The cache is located near John Rogers Elementary school right on lovely Thornton Creek. I wouldn't suggest jumping in the creek, but I would suggest a quick walk around Meadowbrook Pond, which is just a block away and one of the most peaceful places I know in urban Seattle.
This a relatively easy cache and a fairly large container with plenty of room for many small trackables and toys. Please bring things to share, trackables to drop, and if you have any Cornhusker paraphernalia please spread the joy by leaving some in the cache! FTF gets an unactivated Washington Cornhuskers Geocoin, and some other goodies. Enjoy!
