I grew up in Jewell county and still spend a lot of my free time here, camping, fishing and just enjoying the outdoors as well as placing a few caches too. Growing up we had a farm a few miles NE of here and I still love to go to that area to see what has changed as well as explore my aunts property. Although I no longer live in Jewell county ( only 2 miles away) I will always consider myself a Kansan in heart, Husker fan, but Kansan in heart.
