ICE CREAM!!!








Ice cream? Frozen yogurt? Gelato? Sorbet? Whatever you call it, it's darn delicious! We like ice cream anytime of the year, but when the heat picks up we love to head over to the nearest shop and get ourselves a treat. Popsicles, ice cream, slushies, anything to take away the heat! The big well known shops are good, but we prefer to head over to the small, single location stores. They always have different flavours to try versus the standard ones the big shops offer.

So you are aware, there are many thorny bushes around and at GZ so you will most definitely want to wear long pants. If you choose to wear shorts, don't come complaining to me when you have scratched and stinging legs!

photo gate2_zpsfb15eee1.jpgThere is parking available off 9th Ave just West of the Bird Sanctuary which will require a walk across the park, or there is parking off 17th St and 24th Ave where you will go through the gate (pictured) and have a short walk to the cache.

There are three envelopes in the main container, labelled FTF, 2TF and 3TF. Obviously, the first 3 finders take the appropriate envelope to match their position. Feel free to read it at the cache site or back in your car. You will need to come to the wrap up event to collect your prize! Just our way of saying thanks!

Everything else in the cache is there to be taken and not traded for. There is a nail file and plenty of stickers for young cachers (or the young at heart!) so 4TF, 5TF and so on and so on can still get "something" from the cache.



What's your favourite summer-time treat? What's your favourite ice cream flavour? I'm a fan of most anything sweet, but I am a huge fan of Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream... Yummy.
