Each of the caches are only accessible by either a canoe or kayak. Once you commit to float, the only place to take out is 11 miles down stream. I placed 35 of these caches in one day and it took 7 hours and 45 minutes to make it the 11 miles (normally takes around 4 hours). Make sure that you're prepared with lunch, snacks, sunscreen and water to be able to make it on the float. Chances of a roll-over is very good, if you're not very experienced, so be sure to have a dry bag with extra clothes There are plenty of gravel bars that are very easy to stop on as you float down.
Also, be sure to have any valuables that you don't want to lose tethered to either you or your vessel. Life jackets are highly suggested.
