My sons and I began geocaching last fall and all along they kept asking, "when can we hide a geocache daddy?" So we decide it was time. The location is along a very scenic drive to our cabin up north and it seem fitting to hide it there. We wanted to hide it well but with easy access so we can check on it from time to time. Geocaching is a great family activity. We really enjoy it.
My family all participated in hiding this medium sized ammo can. We loaded it up with geocoins and travel bugs that we found in Hawaii this past Christmas. We intended to redeposit them in another cache earlier, but the weather just didn't permit it, so we put them all in our new cache. The location looks over the Susitna Drainage, although it will be difficult to see through all the foliage that will soon be budding out on the birch trees. It was a warm sunny day when we decided to hide the cache and with a little foraging we found just the right location.
