ここ港町は、レコード発祥の地です。
改札前には、美空ひばりさんが歌った港町十三番地の歌碑が設置されています。
ボタンか何か押すと歌ってもらえるようです。
また、駅横のマンションギャラリー内には「ＤＡＩＳＨＩ めぐりうむ」があります
