This cache was placed by myself, Bob B Ballard & Fletch555 on this island in Lough Key lake. You will need a small boat or canoe / kayak to reach the island. DO NOT try and swim to it. There is a landing place on the island but it is only suitable for small boats or a canoe / kayak.
There is plenty of free parking at Dun Shore Amenity Area.
There are some lovely ruins of an Abbey on the island. PLEASE NOTE the cache is not placed in the ruins on the island.
The cache is a small tabloc box placed in a black bag about head height in a tree.
Beware the island can be quite overgrown, so long trouser are advisable to avoid getting stung by nettles.
