Nakagawa river, the third largest river in Kanto region, is known as the best limpid stream in Kanto region. There are many kinds of fish in the river. In autumn, many salmons come up to the river. In early summer, there are several fishing weirs for tourists in the river. You can enjoy fresh ayu broiled with salt there. Fishermen come to this river for fishing ayu by decoy. Also, paddlers enjoy to play there. Please bring your pen.
関東地方第3の大河である那珂川は、関東随一の清流として知られています。魚類が豊富で、秋にはサケが遡上する河川として知られています。初夏には栃木県から茨城県にかけての中流部及びその支流にアユを捕獲するための多数の観光やなが設置され、捕れたてのアユの塩焼きを楽しむ観光客で賑わうほか、天然アユを含め放流アユの友釣りを楽しむ釣り人の姿も多く見かけられます。また、カヌーのメッカとして多くのパドラーがこの川を下っています。
