Geocache Description:

The Canberra Space Centre is the visitors centre for the Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex.

To find this cache, you will need to go into the centre and look around to find certain things to help you determine the location of the cache. The centres opening hours are 9am to 5pm every day (except for Dec 25).

The final location is: S35° 24.ABC', E148° 58.XYZ'

A) You will need to find the Apollo Soyuz display.  There is a cabinet which has a video camera inside, and behind this cabinet is a picture on the wall.  How many Astronauts/Cosmonauts are wearing green?  This is your answer for A.

B) There is a link tunnel between the old part of the visitors centre and the new part. In this tunnel you will find small yellow signs for the centres amenities.  How many arrows are on one of the signs?  This is your answer for B.

C) In the centre you will find a BGT (Big Grey Thing), otherwise known as a Rack.  This rack used to be the Telemetry Processor Assembly.  As with all racks in the DSN, this one has a number "2801/DTM-00C".  C is a number that you are looking for (which happens to be 4).

X) This one you will need to know your roman numerals.  Somewhere you will find mission patches on display.  On the top grouping of mission patches, you will find the Apollo XIII patch, the Skylab II patch, a NASA patch and to the top right corner an Apollo patch (This patch has a red border), which Apollo mission patch is this one for.  That is your answer for X.

Y)  At another location in the centre, you will find a Lunar Module Decent Engine.  You will need to read the display to find out how many seconds this engine could give a burn for in the X axis.  This is your Y answer.

Z) The last number can be found on a door.  In the main theater, as you face the screen, there is a door to the left which has "Staff Only", below that sign is a number "nnZ nnn"  exchange the number with Z and you have your coordinates.

Hopefully you enjoyed your wander through the centre, and by now you must know where I spend a lot of time......  And yes, I will drag you back out here in the future.
