The Legend says that many years ago, a woman lived in the woods near Septfontaines. The people from the village called her the “wëll Fra” (which means “the savage woman”). Today, this part of the forest is still called “Wëllfragronn”.
In 2004 took place the Artfestival “Konscht un der Äisch” in and around the village of Septfontaines. One of the projects was build here in the Wëllfragronn and the remains are still to be seen: the “Villa Wëll Fra”.
