You are looking for a Camo Pill Bottled, nestled in a Maple. Permission wasgraned to place this cache. They are my dad's neighbors.
Independent Ridge Road sits on an old trail, dating back to the Whiskey Rebellion. Many of the farmers in Greene county allowed Whiskey traders access to their farm roads to move supplies. Because this area where the cache sits was privately owned, it was Independent of Franklin Township & Waynesburg Borough. Little more is known about this stretch of road, only the property owners in that time were: White's, Lippencott's, and Strope's. Take a moment to grab your smiley, enjoy the beauty, and step back in time.
