The City of San Antonio bought the park from the local home owners' association. The purchase included four acres of land, a 1,000 square-foot community building, the pool, and four tennis courts. The Parks and Recreation Department renovated the building and surrounding grounds in order to meet public facilities' standards. Two of the tennis courts were converted to two basketball courts and a playground was later added.
Take your little Geocachers along and let them enjoy the playground and meandering paths througout the park.
