Geocache Description:

It's time for the Annual State Chili Cooking event!! Sunday, September 1st from 1pm-4pm.

You may park up front to drop off supplies and chili, but after that we are asked to park in the field north of the dog park to leave room for other patrons.


Come join us for a Chili Challenge event!

If you think your Chili cooking skills are up for a challenge, bring your best Chili to the Event!

You can also come to try and the chili Ballot will be available so you can help us choose the best ones! We'll have several categories such as "People's Choice" and "Best Green Chili".

A panel of judges will determine the Ultimate winning Chili from the those ranked in the top by ballots.
Top Three chosen Chili makers will get GCCO coins:
First place - Ultra-rare Black GCCO Colorado State coin
Second place - Rare, win-only Gold GCCO Colorado State coin
Third place - Silver GCCO Colorado State coin

Chips, drinks, plates and some extra power will be provided by GCCO.
Bring any extra sides that you want.

There will also be the usual drawing for prizes.

You do not have to cook chili or eat chili to attend this event. Just bring your appitite to visit with other cachers! If you have never attended a Geocaching Event, please feel free to join us at this event - you are welcome! Please let us know when you sign into the event that this is your first time. Come have fun and chat, discover trackables, trade pathtags, etc...
