Geocache Description:

The current Barnett’s Bridge was constructed about 1978. The previous bridge was Butts County’s last iron span. It was demolished in 1976.

Should be an easy P&G. Take a few minutes to admire Lake Jackson! The bridge is named for Van Kersey. Van and his wife Frankie, ran a small restaurant and boating ramp at this location for many, many years Many a Butts County resident (and others) have enjoyed a KerseyBurger here. Sadly, Kersey's is no more...only the foundation is left.

The cache contains only a log. No room for more! Plenty of room to park on the side of the road.
