Geocache Description:

This is the sister cache to Rocket Man Cache GC45M6H in South Point, Hawaii.  Former NASA astronaut Charles "Pete" Conrad Jr. founded Universal Space Network in 1996. In 1998, USN started building ground stations in Alaska and Hawaii. The station at South Point has two 13 Meter antennae. This station has one 13 Meter, a 5M and a 6.1M.  The two smaller apatures are in radomes.

The cache is in an Ammo Can. Please do not climb the wall or fence. The station is not open to visitors.
Park in the front, outside the gate. There is not enough room to park on the road. Bring water proof boots or waders during late spring and summer. The mosquitoes will also be quite thick. Always be on the lookout for moose!!! There is a good book you can read about Pete Conrad called "Rocket Man".
