You are searching for a pill bottle
In 2013, 6wiggies and I will have been married for 15 years. 6wiggies suggested hiding a series of 15 caches in places significant to our relationship, and I thought that was a great idea. This is the sixth hide of the series.
6wiggies and I were members at ODBC for more than five years. We both taught children's Sunday School here, 6wiggies taught Awana, our two older kids were in the youth group and three of our children were been baptized here. One of the things that I appreciated most about this church is that, not long after the devastating tornado that struck Tuscaloosa on April 27, 2011, Open Door literally opened its doors to Alberta Baptist Church, whose building was heavily damaged in the storm. A situation that could have created a lot of conflict has been largely a pleasant experience, and both congregations have cooperated on events and met jointly several times while the rebuilding effort continues for ABC. Despite the tragedy of the storm, many churches worked together in unprecedented ways to help the community following the tornado, and Tuscaloosa is the better for it.
Open Door and Alberta Baptist voted to merge recently, and this building is no longer the site of ODBC, but it does hold many memories for our family!
Please avoid searching here on Sundays and Wednesday nights, as the church parking lot may be full of parishoners. Happy hunting!
