Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a nice little park just outside Yinnar, that has two new picnic tables so if its lunch time don't forget your lunch.


When you find the cache you will know why it called In The Wrong Town.

The origin of the name Yinnar is believed to have been derived from the Aboriginal term yinnar, meaning 'woman'
First settlers came to the Yinnar area in the 1840’s.
The town was surveyed in May 1885 and two months later one hundred allotments were auctioned to selectors. Soon many of the first building where established at Yinnar.
Despite many fires over the years some of the earlier buildings of Yinnar are still around today.
 Yinnar had a population of 811 at the 2011 cencus.

The original chache at this location was archived by the owner, as it highlights a unusual connection between two towns I like to continue this chache
