Ranger Rick #4 "This Nature Reserve Rocks!" Traditional Cache
basswoodbend: The Ranger Rick series has been disappointing. It is expensive to maintain and a lot fewer youngsters participated than I had expected.

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Ranger Rick and his pals have been busy here at the Grand Traverse Natural Education Reserve. They have placed eight Geocaches located along the paths and have left evidence of their visits.
For the best experience, have the kids start with a visit to the Nature Center. The Center is a very child friendly space that is open to the public, admission-free Tuesday – Saturday from 10am – 4pm. Look around and pick up a Geotrails Passport at the front desk. Originally, each cache had a stamp of a critter's footprint but they have all been taken. Now there is the picture of the one who placed the cache on the cover. On your passport, write the number of the cache next to the animal's picture. The cache is a 4 x 8 Lock - N Lock available to all but designed for the pre-teen crowd. The stash is all child friendly, please trade fairly and keep the youngsters in mind. When youngsters have completed the passport with a number from all 8 caches, return it to the Nature Center, sign the log book and receive your reward..
