This is a family friendly cache with the goal of introducing people to general aviation. It is an easy park and grab. Be sure to read the ENTIRE description.
The cache is small to medium and see through. I will place something aviation related in it often for the kids. Come out, find the cache and see some airplanes! There are over 600 airplanes at the Northwest Regional Airport (including mine!). The Blue Hangar Cafe is right next to this cache and is a great place to sit, watch airplanes, and get some good food. Tina's Pilot Shop even has toys and gifts as well as pilot stuff. Park in the gravel lot. All roads are public access and one of them is also a taxi way. Remember, aircraft always have the right of way and WHEN YOU PASS THE END OF THE RUNWAY, STOP AND LOOK FOR LANDING AIRCRAFT!!! If you visit the cache at night, the taxiway may be lined with blue lights so just follow them! ***This cache was placed with all appropriate permissions from the airport owner, land owner and cafe owners. This cache and myself are not affiliated with any business at the airport. Muggles are most likely during the day but don't let their presence deter you. The public is always welcome at this cache site which is why it's there!***
