It is CITO time again! Please come and join us for an hour of cleaning up a little part of the Kloof!
We need to meet at the entrance to the Parking at 08h30 SHARP. There we'll meet up with Jackie of FRoK and she will guide us to the areas up the river that require cleaning up. It is about a 20 to 30min walk. We'll pick up as much as we can, and then take the filled bags back down again for the group photo.
Date: Saturday, 25 May 2013
Time: Meet 08:30am Sharp! until approx. 09:30am
Place: Meet just a little past the Main Entrance and then hike to the spot where there is a lot of litter.
What will be provided: Dustbin bags (we are in the process of arranging their collection at the Reserve. If this does not pan out, we'll take the bags with us).
What you will need to bring:
- Gloves
- Wellingtons/Gumboots (this is a MUST next to the dam)
- A sharp pointy stick or metal rod
- Water to drink
- Sunhat and sunscreen
- Raincoat (in case it rains)
After the dustbin bags have been filled: Get together for a group photo. We hope to see you there!
