Get READY to Race around Medicine Hat, to experience history & interesting sites. Completing the race will win a SEARCH Pathtag for a Souvenir and you might learn something new along the way!!! There will "NOT" be a prize for the fastest Cacher, so take your time and complete the Amazing Race Medicine Hat while finding the CARMH4 caches.
SEARCH has 6 Secret Locations that will showcase Medicine Hat's history and different sites. You will start your “Amazing Race Medicine Hat” at Medicine Hat Tourism center on Saturday August 17, 2013 from 8:00am till 10:00am, at the posted coordinates. You will need to sign the “Amazing Race Medicine Hat” SEARCH Log Book and the Tourist Centre will have a free Medicine Hat map waiting for you. Next you will get an envelope with the second location coordinates, information on what to do and the puzzle that you will need to solve. At each location you will get a new envelope when the right answer is given. Also included in the 6 envelopes are clues for the final location, where you will get a “FINISH LINE!!” card, proving that you were able to complete the "Amazing Race Medicine Hat". To receive your SEARCH Pathtag you will need to bring your “FINISH LINE!!” card to one of the SEARCH members at either the "CARMH4" event (GC4B043) or "CITO" event (GC4C5C7). The SEARCH member will check the “Amazing Race Medicine Hat” SEARCH Log Book to verify that the cacher signed up for the event.
There will only be (1) Pathtag given per registered Geo-Cache name.
