Geocache Description:

Camo'd fruit container. The area can be reached one of two ways. Either park in the Swan Creek neighborhood and walk, or walk in from the Cap City trail. Either route is uphill to the cache (but downhill going back!).  Very few muggles, though the occasional dog walker.

This is DNR managed land, and a very interesting area. To the northeast of the cache, you will see a very large area of cleared timber. In the fall of 2012, the DNR began clearing out the pine forest to restore the area back to its original oak savannah landscape.

The neighborhood to the east was a tobacco farm during the Civil War, and is home to the McCoy Farmhouse, which was built during that time, and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
